Corrective Jaw Surgery (Orthognathic)

Repositioning the jaws to correct bite, function, and facial balance.

Corrective jaw surgery, also called orthognathic surgery, repositions the upper jaw, lower jaw, or both when they do not meet correctly. It can address difficulty chewing, an open bite, sleep-related breathing concerns, and long-standing facial imbalance.

These cases are planned carefully and in coordination with your orthodontist. We use detailed imaging and surgical planning so you understand the goals, the sequence, and the recovery well before any surgery is scheduled.

What this addresses

  • Correction of bite, chewing, and jaw alignment concerns
  • Coordinated planning with your orthodontist
  • Three-dimensional imaging and detailed surgical planning
