Bone Grafting

Rebuilding bone volume so an implant has a strong, stable foundation.

When a tooth has been missing for a while, the bone that once supported it tends to shrink. Bone grafting rebuilds that volume so an implant has a solid foundation, and it is often done at the time of an extraction to keep the site ready.

We use well-established grafting techniques, including socket preservation and sinus lift procedures for the upper back teeth. The graft is given time to mature before an implant is placed on top of it.

What this addresses

  • Socket preservation to hold a site for a future implant
  • Sinus lift for implants in the upper back jaw
  • Ridge augmentation to restore width and height where needed
